Chicago is filled with awesome and fun creative events and drink and draws, but one of our favorites is Atomic Sketch. When our friends Josh Gilley and Ernest J Ramon approached us with a Spooky Atomic Sketch takeover for Halloween, we were so stoked! We immediately accepted, and since we are rolling into the holiday season, we thought it would be a great idea to work with some charities to help out local folks who are underserved.
This is when we were introduced to Give a Shi*t which is run by Scott Marvel (of Daily Planet) and Pam Hoffman to benefit Streetwise! We wanted to turn this event into something fun, unique, and spooky to give back to the community.
We featured a panel of inspirational artists from the Chicago advertising, design. video game and comic book community. The night was so fun, and we packed the house at Green Eye Lounge! We sold original art, stickers, pins, t-shirts and more. This was a great event for a great cause!
